Your website brings in close to nothing from Google

This review is about what your website brings in from Google. We went through the site, your search rankings and your reviews. The main findings: the site ranks for eight searches in Ireland, none high enough to produce measurable visits, and the best of them is 16th. That's not for lack of a website. You have 25 pages and 66 blog posts, so the work has been done, it just isn't aimed at anything homeowners search for. And you have 104 Google reviews at 4.9 stars that appear nowhere: not in your Google listing, and not anywhere on the website itself. It's all detailed below, with what to do about each one.

01 The rankings

Eight rankings, and two of them are other companies' names

Here is everything your site ranks for that matters, and the searches it should rank for but doesn't. Two of your eight keywords are "energia solar panels" and "enercon", other companies' brand names, which bring you nobody. The real signal is in the first row: when a page on your site targets a specific search, it gets to page two on its own.

A site with 25 pages and 66 articles should rank for hundreds of searches. Yours ranks for eight, because almost none of the pages are aimed at a search a homeowner actually types. The flat roof page proves the site can rank when a page has a clear target. There are just no pages targeting the searches with money behind them: Dublin, grants, batteries, or any county you work in.

02 The specifics

Five things holding the site back

The first three explain why almost nobody arrives from Google. The last two are what meets the few who do.

Weak
The homepage title sells to nobody
Your title on Google reads "Encom Energy - ROI Solar Installer". To most homeowners "ROI" reads as return on investment, not Republic of Ireland. It doesn't say solar panels, doesn't say Dublin, and doesn't mention the 4.9 stars. The replacement is written for you in section 03.
Missing
No page targets Dublin or any county
Your 25 pages cover residential, commercial, EV chargers and energy management, but not one page is about a place. Google can't show you to someone searching "solar panels dublin" if no page on the site is about solar panels in Dublin.
Weak
The content volume isn't aimed at searches
66 posts is more content than most installers ever publish, and between them they rank for almost nothing. Compare the one page that does work: the flat roof page, 16th for a named search rated very easy to win. One aimed page beat 66 unaimed posts.
Missing
Your reviews are nowhere on the site
104 reviews at 4.9 stars is a better record than almost any installer in Dublin, and the website never shows it. A visitor who hasn't already heard of you gets no reason to believe you're the safer choice.
Weak
The site reads as a tech company, not a local installer
Dark screens, product renders and app graphics, and no photos of your team or your finished installations on real Irish houses. Commercial clients may not mind. A homeowner deciding who to let onto their roof wants to see real people and real jobs.
Worth noticing

The content exists and the design work has been paid for. What's missing is aim and proof: pages pointed at named searches, and your review record and real jobs put where visitors can see them. Both are steady work, not a big project.

03 Done for you

The fixes, already written out

Each fix below is ready to hand to whoever manages the site.

Fix 1 · New text for your Google listing
This is what people see when Encom Energy comes up on Google today, next to what it should say.
What Google shows now
https://encomenergy.ie
Encom Energy - ROI Solar Installer
Specialists In Solar Photovoltaic & Battery Storage Systems, Providing Bespoke Design & Professional Installation Of Grid Connected Systems
What it should show
https://encomenergy.ie
Solar Panel Installers Dublin | Encom Energy
Solar PV, battery storage and EV charger installation for homes and businesses in Dublin. 4.9 stars from 104 Google reviews.
Fix 2 · Finish the two rankings you already started
Semrush rates both of these as very easy to rank for, and your pages are already in the results. These are the fastest wins available to the site.
solar panels on flat roof — you're 16th. Expand the page: photos of your flat roof jobs, the mounting system you use, a price range, an FAQ. Top 10 is realistic within weeks.

ground mounted solar panels ireland — you're 70th. Same treatment. This search has 170 a month and almost no strong competition.
Fix 3 · The pages the site is missing
Each of these gives Google a page to show for a search that currently returns nothing from your site. Ordered by search size.
/solar-panels-dublin/ — 480 searches a month, your home market
/solar-grants/ — 480 a month, nothing ranking
/battery-storage/ — your own specialty, per your site's description
/solar-panels-[county]/ — one per county you actually cover, built one at a time
04 The plan

What to do and when

Start at the top. The bottom block is the work that moves the numbers.

Today
about 30 minutes total
Swap in the new Google listing text from Fix 1.
10 min
Put "4.9 stars from 104 Google reviews" in the first screen of the homepage, beside the quote button.
15 min
Reply to your five most recent Google reviews.

This week
about half a day
Expand the flat roof page per Fix 2. It's 16th on a search rated very easy, the fastest win on this whole page.
2 hrs
Ask the crews for 8 photos of finished jobs, one per area if possible, for the new pages.
one text
This month
the growth work
Build the Dublin page. 480 searches a month in your home market with nothing ranking.
half day
Build the grants page. Another 480 a month.
half day
Put real photos on the homepage. The renders and app graphics can stay, but the first thing a visitor sees should include your team and your finished work.
half day
Re-aim the blog. One post a month targeting a named search beats ten that target nothing. The 66 existing posts can be reviewed for salvage: the best few get rewritten around real searches.

05 What it adds up to

Run your own numbers on it

Here's the sum in its plain parts. Right now Google adds roughly nothing to your business. Every job you win, you win without it. The searches listed above add up to over 1,500 a month, and a 4.9 from 104 reviews means that once people can find you, you're the easiest company on the list to say yes to. You know your average job value and your close rate. Any ranking at all is new money against a base of zero.

Why sooner beats later

Competitors are already collecting these searches: ecoenergyimprovements.ie ranks for 88 keywords and takes 145 visits a month from the same market. That's a very beatable bar for a company with your review record, but only if the pages exist.
